OPPO “Knock Knock” Glove!

New release in the webshop! the brand new KK Glove…

A few weeks back we had a post regarding the original OPPO Glove and its return and the result became two designs.

We wanted to recreate our original OPPO Glove but ended up with two versions!
The A1 and KK designs both have different angels and this post is about the KK design.

First of all this glove has a smooth and great feel to its cowhide palm area similar to that of a flight glove but with an added padding low down for extra support. The feel is that when worn it will add a layer of skin and thicken your palm without being too thick and bulky.

Well worn the glove will reshape around your fingers as in a mold and when not worn be slightly bent as if your hand was still in them.. rather like an old pair of favorite well worn jeans.

The top of the glove are made of NOMEX fabric and it ends in a short Neoprene cuff with a loop sewn on for hanging your gloves up for drying or safekeeping. The cuff has no hook and loop closure but is an open design which makes them easier to take on and off. To reinforce the glove and enhance protection of your knuckles there is a hard plastic cover and you will also find inserted nylon padding under the Nomex to protect some of the fingers.

The overall look of the KK glove is a more Police or SWAT type rather than military, but black gloves are common even with your green kit so both Police and military has been our aim here.

Actually the name “KK” comes from “Knock Knock” ! Try vision some black clad law enforcement raiders stacked up outside a door, then one of them knocks on the door from the side with his body well out of range of the door itself and gives a last chance for the people inside to open the door as it was designed to do…..

If you want an OPPO glove that is lower key than the A1 model then the more subtle KK design would be your choice! But do not fool yourself; the KK still has an aggressive touch to its looks and will be an excellent addition to your assault kit!
