Swedish Tactical Gear with a Different Perspective
TAC-UP GEAR is a Swedish company focused on tactical gear, outdoor equipment, Swedish M90 camouflage, clothing, headwear, patches and accessories.
We started in 2006 with a simple idea: to create equipment that was difficult to find elsewhere.
The story began with a search for suitable reconnaissance and jungle-style headwear in Swedish M90 camouflage. We could not find exactly what we were looking for, so we decided to design it ourselves.
That first idea became our Bush Hat, and from there Tac-Up Gear Sandgren Design was born. The webshop and product range gradually followed, and over the years TAC-UP GEAR has developed into an international online store with customers around the world.
Made for People Who Like Their Gear Different
We have never aimed to be the biggest tactical gear store.
Instead, we look for products that are useful, unusual, practical and different.
Our philosophy is simple:
We make and offer products that we would like to use ourselves.
Sometimes that means designing something from scratch. Sometimes it means finding an interesting product, material or camouflage pattern and developing it into something that fits the TAC-UP GEAR concept.
This approach has resulted in a varied selection of tactical clothing, field gear, M90 camouflage equipment, hats, gloves, patches, stickers and small accessories.
Swedish M90 Camouflage
Swedish M90 camouflage has been part of TAC-UP GEAR since the very beginning.
The distinctive angular pattern has always been one of the things that makes Swedish military-inspired equipment stand out, and it remains a central part of our product range.
Over the years we have developed and offered M90-inspired products ranging from field shirts and trousers to hats, caps, patches and accessories.
We also explore other camouflage patterns and colour combinations when they fit our product philosophy.
Small Batch. Independent. Passion Driven.
TAC-UP GEAR remains a small independent Swedish business.
We like working with smaller production runs and products that may not make sense for mass-market retailers.
This also means that some of our products are available only in limited quantities. When something sells out, it may return in a new production run — or it may become part of the TAC-UP GEAR history.
For us, that is part of the fun.

From Sweden to the World
Although TAC-UP GEAR is based in Sweden, our customers have always been international.
Over the years our products have found their way to customers in countries around the world, including Europe, North America, Asia, Africa and Australia.
Our webshop is therefore primarily presented in English, making it easier for customers around the world to explore our products and communicate with us.
More Than Just Equipment
TAC-UP GEAR is not only about tactical equipment.
It is also about design, Swedish heritage, outdoor life, military-inspired aesthetics and the people who enjoy distinctive gear.
From a Swedish M90 Bush Hat to a small morale patch or an unusual piece of field equipment, we enjoy creating products that have a story behind them.
Some are highly practical.
Some are simply fun.
And some are a little bit of both.
